Expertise isn’t found in books. Certainly time and experience make you more of an expert….but reading books definitely helps!
Organizing my home, my book shelves, my life
By the way, I own a big THANK YOU to my dearest friend who came from “Ne
therverland” and helped me to start getting things organized (you know I’m talking about you, don’t you?).
I know I have a highly developed sense of denial but this time, I might believe I’m not cheating on my new year’s resolutions. In my own defense I must argue that…
#The “petite treat” is a New year’s present to my sister. Yeah! She may be the beauty expert and knows how to dress herself like no one but I’m the one who’s mastering the art of dressing home! Ins’t this a perfect gift for a french girl?
# “Famous Frocks” just costed me €24 and … How the heel do I live a whole year without buying dresses? The wise alternative is DO IT MYSELF. Genious, isn’t it?
I’m on a strict spending diet at the moment. As ” loosing weight” makes top ten commonly new year’s resolutions and I definetly do not need to loose weight (lucky me!), I thought a spending diet would do me good. It seems although losing pounds is easier than gaining some sterling pounds.
Maybe readers would be interested in following shopping diary blogs rather than “cutting expenses” sort of posts. Anyway, since addicts anonymous proved to work I decided to follow my own AAA program. It’s all about blogging and making it public. Here it goes…
Confessions of a shopaholic – I did great with seasons gifts. Yes, I did! I made a list and bought almost everything in advance, picking up nice, pretty things at my local Christmas market. Unfortunately my post-Christmas purchases seems to have already annihilated my previous efforts and sales season have not yet began! I must figure out a way not to fail my resolution. “Spend better not more” must be my mantra for this new year.
My go-to cheer-me-up things: dinnerware and books
